As we welcome 2026, we extend our warmest wishes to all who call Kennett Township home. Thank you for your continued support, engagement, and partnership throughout the past year. We look forward to another year of community progress, collaboration, and shared success. Wishing you and your families a happy, healthy, and fulfilling New Year!

The township offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1st and Friday, January 2nd.  Offices will reopen on Monday, January 5th at 8:00 am.

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ORGANIZATION MEETING

The Second Class Township Code requires that we meet on the first Monday of the year for an Organization Meeting. The meeting will take place on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 7:00pm. It is a hybrid meeting that you can attend in person at the Township Meeting Room or via Zoom. The Zoom link can be accessed via the agenda which will be posted to the Agenda Center prior to the meeting.

The Organization Meeting will begin with the swearing in of Michael J. Bailey as the newest Supervisor. The Supervisors will then appoint a Chair and Vice Chair for 2026. The meeting also includes the appointment of Township staff & consultants for 2026, the setting of the 2026 meeting schedule, committee appointments, and the 2026 Fee Schedule.
