September's Third Thursday on State Street

The next Third Thursday on State Street will be this Thursday, September 21, 2023 from, 5:30PM to 9:00PM. Third Thursdays bring the community together and support restaurants and small businesses on State Street. State Street is closed from Broad to Center Streets from 5:00PM to 10:00PM every third Thursday from May to October. To ensure an outdoor table, please make a reservation. Lawn to Meadow Workshop

Lawn to meadow conversions are gaining strong interest for their benefits in reducing storm water run-off and providing wildlife habitat for birds, butterflies and pollinators. This is a repeat of the workshop offered last fall that filled quickly, so register early.

This workshop is open to municipalities, landowners with 1/2 acre planned meadow, HOA's and landscapers to learn the how to install and maintain a meadow. This year marks the 26th Annual Kennett Brewfest, being held on Saturday, October 7th—the epic celebration of community, friendship, and all things craft beer.
