Township Office Closed & Historical Commission Meeting Cancelled for 9/7/23

The Kennett Township Historical Commission has cancelled their hybrid meeting that was scheduled for tonight, Thursday, September 7th at 7:00PM as the search for Danelo Cavalcante continues through the area.  

The Township office remains closed, as to not interfere with the search efforts by law enforcement.  If you need assistance with anything, the staff is working remotely.  We will keep the community informed of further changes to meeting schedules and Township Office operations.  

The most up to date information about the search will come from the District Attorney’s Office, their social media, and the Pennsylvania State Police. Residents are encouraged to sign up for Ready Chesco Alerts which allow the County to provide you with emergency information in real time.

Residents are asked to stay vigilant.  If you see anything suspicious, or are experiencing an emergency, please call 911.
