Board of Supervisors Meeting

The Kennett Township Board of Supervisors will hold a hybrid meeting on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 7:00PM in the Public Meeting Room. The Zoom link can be found on the agenda which can be accessed on the Township website.

Historical Commission Meeting

The Kennett Township Historical Commission will hold a meeting on Thursday, July 6th at 7:00PM in the Public Meeting Room. The agenda can be accessed on the Township website.

Offices Closed - July 4th

The Kennett Township administration office will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th in observance of the holiday. We will reopen on Wednesday, July 5th at 8:00AM. Have a wonderful 4th!

KAPA 2023 Summer Concert Series

KAPA's Musical Guest on Wednesday July 5th will be Kilates de Oro! Starting at 6:30PM, come enjoy music and brews in the Park! Third Thursdays on State Street

The next Third Thursday on State Street will be on July 20, 2023 from, 5:30PM to 9:00PM. Third Thursdays bring the community together and support restaurants and small businesses on State Street. State Street is closed from Broad to Center Streets from 5:00PM to 10:00PM every third Thursday from May to October. To ensure an outdoor table, please make a reservation. Mark your calendars for August's Third Thursday, which will be August 17, 2023! Check out the website for additional details.

Congratulations Kennett Library

The Kennett Library & Resource Center officially opened last Monday June 26th. Congratulations to a memorable opening. The Grand Opening Celebration will take place on August 27th. DEP declares Drought Watch

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has issued a statewide drought watch. While not required, residents and businesses are encouraged to voluntarily conserve water by reducing their nonessential water use.
