Utility Work Continues

A Friendly Reminder that The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Utility Excavation will continue this week on U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) in Kennett and East Marlborough Townships.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
• Monday, May 8, through Friday, May 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between Schoolhouse Road and Bayard Road.  All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Public Transportation/Trail Plan Outreach Event

Please join the Chester County Planning Commission on Tuesday, May 9, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m to discuss and provide feedback toward the development of Chester County’s Public Transportation Plan Update and the county-wide Trails Master Plan.

The event will take place at the West Whiteland Township Building and via Zoom.

Chester County Broadband Survey

Chester County Government has created a one-minute crucial survey that will identify locations in the county where internet service is either non-existent or extremely limited.

Responses to this survey will provide greater detail on where the broadband shortfalls are within areas of Chester County, giving a clearer picture of the true impact on residents and businesses.

Survey results will assist organizations, internet service providers and municipalities in drafting and submitting the most complete and accurate application for State and Federal broadband expansion dollars. TAKE THE SURVEY
