Help Bring Network Coverage to Dead Zones in KT!

There are areas that are clearly underserved in Southern Chester County and in Kennett Township that affect

public safety, business development, and access to services through the impact of no, slow or inadequate internet access.
 
The FCC released maps on Nov. 18 that can currently be challenged, and the State Broadband Authority needs as many people as possible to do testing through the challenge process.  The first link will let you verify your location information in relation to the FCC maps for broadband; the second link is more important, and has a link to the FCC challenge app, where you can submit challenges to mobile access- which is critical for Kennett Township.

Most distressing is that all challenges are to be submitted by January 13th, 2023. This data will then be used both by the Commonwealth and the Federal Government to determine funding to improve the network.  
 
Please download the app and make reports from home (with Wi-Fi off) and out in public to help gather additional data of the areas with poor to no connectivity via cellular networks throughout our area.
