Special Board of Supervisors Meeting Thursday, Nov 12th

At our last Board of Supervisors Meeting (on Nov. 4th), the Board agreed to hold a special meeting this coming Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.  to discuss 2021 budgetary requests for the Sewer Fund, General Fund Revenue, view the full P&L, plus any other business that may come before the Board. The Zoom link and instructions to "attend" can be found HERE. In addition, members of the public may provide written comment via email to gretchen.flack@kennett.pa.us prior to the meeting. We strongly encourage you to join us!

Sewer Bills

As many of you are aware, the quarterly sewer bill has hit the mailboxes. Please note that this bill covers both the 1st and 2nd quarters of 2020. We appreciate your understanding for the delays as we continue to navigate new systems, processes and staff. We anticipate sending 3rd quarter bills out by early December. Most our of staff is still working remotely due to COVID-19 precautions, so if you have any questions, please email finance@kennett.pa.us rather than call and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Township Building Closed for Veterans Day Nov. 11th

Just a heads up, the Township Office will be closed Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. Thank you to all who have served our country! Whether you are following red states or blue states, without our courageous men and women of the armed forces, we would not be the proud red, white and blue!

Speaking of Red and Blue States...

We have received some calls and emails expressing your concerns over the current situation surrounding counting the votes from the General Election this past Tuesday. While we appreciate your dedication to democracy, the Township has nothing to do with how the votes are managed. That is accomplished at the County level. To properly voice your concerns, please contact Voter Services at 610-344-6410 or by emailing ccelections@chesco.org.
