Kennett Fire and EMS Regional Commission (KFERC) 

The Kennett Fire and EMS Regional Commission (KFERC) is a regional commission formed in 2017 through an Intermunicipal Cooperation Agreement. The municipalities entered into the agreement to provide for collaboration and the pooling of municipal resources and funds for fire, rescue, and emergency services. The Cooperation Agreement names Longwood, Kennett, and Po-Mar-Lin Fire Companies as the Services Providers who remain separate, independent legal entities. 

The commission meets the second Tuesday of each month for their public meeting.  There is currently a rotation amongst Township buildings  Please call the Township office or refer to the calendar to confirm the meeting dates and times as they may change.
